What does a distributor do?
1st Energy is your energy retailer. We look after your account, your plan and your bills. Your distributor owns and maintains the network that delivers energy to your property, including the power lines, poles, gas pipes and meters.
Your distributor depends on where you live, not on who your retailer is, so it stays the same even if you change retailers. Contact your distributor directly about:
- power outages and loss of gas supply
- fallen power lines or damaged poles
- gas leaks
- faults with the network in your street
