Important information about the Solar Sharer Offer

Solar Sharer gives eligible customers a $0.00/kWh usage rate during a daily free usage period, up to a reasonable usage cap of 24 kWh per day during this period.

This offer is best suited to customers who can shift some of their electricity usage into the free usage period. This could include running appliances, charging an EV, using a pool pump, or other flexible usage during the middle of the day.

If you do not shift usage into the free usage period, your electricity costs could be higher than on another plan. This is because usage outside the free usage period is charged at the applicable rates shown in your Energy Price Fact Sheet.

The $0.00/kWh rate applies only during the free usage period and only up to the daily reasonable usage cap. If your usage exceeds 24 kWh during the free usage period on any day, usage charges apply for electricity used above the cap.

Free Usage Period

The free period is fixed year-round and doesn’t change with daylight saving time. Your window depends on where you live:

• NSW: 11am–2pm
• South-East Queensland: 11am–2pm
• South Australia: 12pm–3pm
