It’s easy either go online and follow our easy 4 step sign up process or give our friendly team a call on 1300 426 594 and they will do it for you. Once you have selected your 1st Energy plan we will transfer you over to us on your next scheduled read date (in some instances this can take up to 90 days but it is generally much quicker) or if you want to transfer straight away (and who wouldn’t!) give us a call on 1300 426 594 and we will discuss a special meter read.
Once you have your account number you can register on My Account from the website, it is as simple as that. There you will have access to latest invoices, your consumption, account details, meter information and much more all at your fingertips.
At 1st Energy you will receive a bill every month as we believe this is a better way to manage your energy costs. If you have a smart meter this will be based on actual reads where available. If you are on a quarterly read meter then we will use the amount you nominated during the sign up process (general rule is to divide your previous bill by 3) or you can provide your own reads via our portal. The quarterly bill will be reconciled to ensure that you are only paying for what you have used.
