If you install or upgrade solar, your electricity meter may need to be reconfigured or replaced so your usage and solar exports are recorded correctly.

The process depends on your meter, distributor and state. Your solar installer will usually need to complete the relevant network paperwork, and we may need information from you or your installer before the metering work can proceed.
